Full Metal Cabinets
Despite the ease with
which our high quality cedar cabinets can be maintained, there are those who
prefer 'no-maintenance options'. The problem is, the only solutions the industry
has offered to consumers so far are really more like 'no maintenance possible'.
f you look at the materials that are being used: plastic, vinyl, wood / plastic combinations, foam and some resin composites; all share the same vulnerability to UV rays...sunlight. If you read the warranties on these items you'll find that the fading and discoloration are listed as 'normal' and are not covered by the warranty. If you do wish to bring the unit back to new condition it requires replacing the entire section of cabinet. The bottom line is that we at Arctic spas could not, in good faith, offer a product that we could not feel 100% confident in.
So it has
taken us a little more time and research, but we think you will agree tat we
have developed the only true weatherproof, no-maintenance cabinet in the
industry! The Full Metal cabinet is made completely of high grade extruded and
cast aluminum components and then finished wit a baked external coating similar
to that used on high-end outdoor furniture. The result is a beautiful, truly
maintenance-free finish that we are confident will last for years. This cabinet
is offered in Gunmetal Grey and Distressed Copper finishes.
Wooden Cabinets
Like every other success story, we started at the bottom and worked our way up. Our full pedestal base allows you to locate the spa anywhere, with minimal preparation costs. All you need is a level piece of ground or patio slabs. No special foundation is required. Arctic Spas' full pedestal base evenly distributes your spa's weight and seals its underside from water, dirt and debris. Special treatment with wood preservative insures the base against moisture damage. The full floor of this base will further protect against rodent and insect infestation. Beauty, strength and accessibility are built into every Arctic Spas cabinet.
We construct each cabinet using Western Canadian clear red cedar. Corners are
rounded with vertical tongue-and-groove 1" x 4" dadoed into top and bottom 2x4
rails. 
The
sturdiness of our cabinets is incomparable. No sagging, shifting or misalignment
will occur. All come with a clear protective premium stain which prevents
moisture and UV damage. Arctic Spas' cabinets have eight inset access doors, two
on each side, allowing easy installations and upgrades to any part of the spa.
All of our cabinets have a self-draining angled top cedar rail to insure you
have cabinet strength with no water buildup.
